Frequently Asked Questions
For Residents
How do I book an appointment?
You can book directly through our booking page or by contacting Savannah at 704-780-8099 or Savannah@SavyTails.com. Once your appointment is confirmed you’ll receive a digital intake form and liability waiver to complete before your first visit.
Do I need to be home during the appointment?
No. Grooming takes place at your building’s on-site grooming station. You simply drop off your dog at the start of the appointment or use our Savy Turnkey Add-On and we handle everything — including pickup and drop-off at your door.
What is the Savy Turnkey Add-On?
For $30, Savannah will coordinate access to your home, retrieve your dog, provide a pre-groom walk, complete the full grooming service, and return your dog safely — all without you needing to be present. A signed Turnkey Authorization Form is required prior to the first service.
What if my dog is anxious or has been turned away by other groomers?
Savannah specializes in anxious and difficult dogs. She is Fear Free Grooming Certified and uses clinically validated, low-stress techniques. Every appointment is private and one-on-one — no other dogs, no cage dryers, no rushing.
How much does grooming cost?
Pricing depends on your dog’s size and the service selected. Visit our Services & Pricing page for the full price list. Prices reflect the in-building station model and are priced below comparable mobile van services.
What products does Savannah use?
Savannah uses premium, cruelty-free products from Nature’s Specialties and iGroom. All tools and equipment are provided by SavyTails — we only use your building’s tub and workspace.
For Property Managers
Is there any cost to the property?
No. Under our standard Preferred Vendor Access agreement there is no fee, no revenue share, and no financial obligation to your community. You provide access to your existing on-site grooming station on scheduled service days. We handle everything else.
Does SavyTails carry insurance?
Yes. SavyTails carries General Liability insurance at $1M/$2M plus Professional Pet Groomer’s Liability. Your community can be named as Additional Insured on our COI — provided within 48 hours of request.
How much staff involvement is required?
None after the initial resident announcement. Your team’s only job is to tell residents we exist. SavyTails handles all scheduling, payment processing, client communication, and cleanup.
Is SavyTails a certified diverse vendor?
Yes. SavyTails is a Woman & Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB), certified through the SBA VetCert program. We qualify as a diversity vendor for property management companies with inclusive procurement programs.
How do we get started?
Contact Chad at 828-579-0300 or Chad@SavyTails.com to schedule a 20-minute walkthrough meeting. We’ll show you exactly what a service day looks like and provide all vendor documents same day.
